"Free Printables"
I've been making Hershey Nugget Wrappers for all occasions for quite awhile. Such a simple little craft, but everyone loves them. They are great for any age or any occasion. Today I decided to make John Deere Birthday wrappers for that little guy's birthday. They personalize birthdays. The kids love to make them and give them to their friends as a little gift for coming to their birthday party. Or, they can be given to the birthday person as a small little gift. Either way, they are fun to make and fun to give and receive.
For "Free" Happy Birthday Printables and instructions, just click on the print button below...I've included 18 nugget wrappers with both Happy Birthday on them and also ones that are just the prints. The dowload has 3 printable pages. Page 1 is the actual nugget wrappers. Page 2 are the toppers for the nugget packages and page 3 are the actual instructions. So very easy to make and the birthday person and their guests will love them.
Instructions for Making Nugget Wrappers and Tray
Although I have included the instructions for the nugget wrappers in the printable, I thought I would also include the instructions on this post. The wrappers are pretty easy. Just print the ones you want and cut them out.
The tray is very easy. If you don't have a Scor pal, you can easily use a ruler. Cut the size that you are interested in...1 7/8"X 4" for a four pack of nuggets, 1 7/8"X 6" for a six pack, and 1 7/8"X 8" for an eight pack.
Score the construction paper or cardstock 1/4" on both long sides. You can use the rounded end of a paper clip to score the paper if you don't have a Scor pal. Once scored, fold on score line to give each side an edge where the nuggets will be held in place.
Place a piece of double faced tape down the center of the tray or a dot of glue....whatever you have available. Then place nuggets in the tray. The tape or glue holds them in place so they don't move around. If using glue, wait until the glue is dry before you put in to the pretzel bag.
Insert your tray of nuggets into the pretzel bag. (These can be purchased at Walmart, craft stores that have cake decorating items or online. They are very reasonable.
Cut out the topper and make a hole at the top of the topper. You can use yarn, ribbon, jute, or whatever you have on hand to seal the bag. The pretzel bags do come with silver ties also.
