Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Trifle

Do you like chocolate and peanut butter?  This dessert is for that "chocoholic" in your family. It looks very rich, but actually isn't.  The peanut butter taste is mellowed by whipped topping and pudding. This post is one of my most requested. If you love chocolate and you love peanut butter cups, this dessert is for you. Your family will love it!
There are so many dessert trifles out there and to be quite truthful I love them all. Every time I make a trifle everyone raves about it.  It's an easy dessert to make. For this trifle you will need a box of brownies, a box of instant vanilla pudding, milk, peanut butter, vanilla, a small container of thawed whipped topping, like Cool Whip, and the star of the show, Reese's peanut butter cups. It makes enough to feed a pretty good sized group. Note: It calls for regular size peanut butter cups, but I think using the small size cups would be fine also. Just remember to buy a few regular size ones for the top.

It's great for holidays, get-togethers, birthdays, or just for the family as a pretty spectacular dessert. I do hope you try it. You will be surprised how creamy it is. The peanut butter and chocolate truly are not overwhelming. Every spoonful is a little bit of heaven!

Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Trifle Dessert...
Here's what you'll need for the Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Trifle. A box of brownies, vanilla pudding mix, milk, creamy peanut butter, whipped topping, peanut butter cups, and Heath bar crumbles (opt.)
Beat pudding and milk and once set add the vanilla and peanut butter and beat until smooth. Fold in the whipped topping until it is smooth and is completely combined.
Place half of the 1" brownies in the bottom of a trifle bowl.  Then layer half of the cut up Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and Heath Bar crumbles (opt.) and pudding mix. Repeat one more layer of each. Leave a little of the chopped peanut butter cups for the topping.
Top with whipped topping, the remaining cut up heath bar crumbles, and mini peanut butter cups.
And here it is! This dessert is so simple to make and tastes so good.
