How to Clean Mold on Your Shower Grout and Caulking

Don't you just hate the mold that forms in your shower on the grout and caulk? It looks disgusting and is so hard to remove. Well, I came across this cleaning method that really works. Most likely you have the two ingredients already in your home...bleach and baking soda.
You'll need a plastic cup, bleach, baking soda and a old toothbrush. Mix 1/2 cup of bleach and 1 cup of baking soda and mix in a plastic cup that you can dispose of after you're done cleaning the caulk and grout. There's very little effort with this method.
Mix and apply to your grout and caulk where needed. Leave on for about 30 minutes and rinse well.
That's it! It is amazing how well this works...and the plus is that your arms won't be sore from scrubbing and scrubbing. One thing to remember, wear old cloths. You are working with bleach and if you spill it on any cloth item, it's going to ruin it.  I know that for sure because the first time I did this I got the mixture on an old red shirt I was wearing which now has bleached out areas on it. "Live and learn", I say! LOL!!!  I would advise making the mixture in your bathroom and moving it directly to the shower area right after mixing.
